‘Finish Off Iran...’ Trump Orders Hegseth

 Report by Y-Trendz

U.S. President Donald Trump has reportedly directed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to intensify military operations against Iran, signaling a tougher American stance amid escalating tensions in the Middle East. The latest developments come as Washington balances military pressure with fragile diplomatic negotiations involving the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear ambitions.

According to recent international reports, Trump warned that if negotiations with Tehran fail, the United States may “finish the job,” referring to continued military action against Iranian military infrastructure and strategic assets. The remarks were made during high-level discussions on the ongoing conflict and ceasefire efforts in the region.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has emerged as one of the administration’s strongest voices in favor of aggressive military action. During previous briefings related to the Iran conflict, Hegseth stated that the United States “did not start this conflict, but we will finish it,” emphasizing Washington’s determination to dismantle Iranian missile threats and prevent Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.

The Trump administration has maintained that its objectives include neutralizing Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities, weakening naval operations in the Gulf region, and ensuring that Iran cannot threaten international shipping routes or American allies. Trump recently stated that the U.S. was “not satisfied yet” with the progress of negotiations and warned that military options remain fully available.

Analysts say the rhetoric from both Trump and Hegseth reflects a broader strategic shift toward maximum pressure on Tehran. Military operations conducted in recent months reportedly targeted drone bases, missile launch facilities, naval positions, and command centers linked to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard operations.

The escalating language has also drawn criticism internationally. Some observers fear that continued military escalation could destabilize the Gulf region further, disrupt global oil supplies, and trigger wider geopolitical confrontation involving regional allies and global powers. Humanitarian organizations have meanwhile raised concerns over civilian safety and the risk of prolonged conflict.

Despite the aggressive tone, diplomatic channels remain open. Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently acknowledged “some progress” in negotiations with Iran, although Washington continues to insist on strict conditions regarding uranium enrichment, regional security, and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

Political analysts believe the coming weeks could determine whether the crisis moves toward a negotiated settlement or a broader military confrontation. With strong rhetoric coming directly from the White House and Pentagon leadership, the world is closely watching developments in one of the most strategically sensitive regions on Earth.
