BHOPAL — In a major breakthrough in the high-profile Twisha Sharma death investigation, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday took retired judge Giribala Singh into custody following a grueling seven-hour interrogation at her residence in Bhopal’s Bag Mughaliya Extension.

The high-stakes arrest comes barely 24 hours after the Madhya Pradesh High Court quashed the anticipatory bail previously granted to her, paving the way for the central agency to pursue custodial interrogation.
